Yvonne Pitts

As a self-proclaimed "urban belle", Yvonne is originally from Lafayette, LA and received her B.A. in Psychology and B.S. in Sociology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. After graduating SMU, Yvonne received her M.A. and Ed.M. in Higher and Postsecondary Education at Teachers College-Columbia University and her M.A. in Sociology from Columbia University. Yvonne has over eight years of professional experience in student affairs, where she has done work with crisis response, wellness, and diversity and inclusion. Yvonne's latest research pertains to DEI efforts in the workplace.
